Helena Vallée-Dallaire is a contemporary visual artist trained in the classical tradition of the Old Masters. She studied at the Art Students League of New York, the Studio Escalier in France and the Angel Academy of Art in Florence, before becoming a Core Program student at the Grand Central Atelier in New York. Following her studies at GCA, she completed her MFA at the New York Academy of Art (2018). She works as a drawing teacher at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and has taught painting internationally, notably at Southfest in Thailand and at Atelier Mesones in Mexico City. She is a recipient of various prizes and honours, including three grants from the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation. Her work can be found in public and private collections around the world.
